Coastal Addition
The owners of this beautiful vacation home wanted to build an addition to create extra space for their growing family. Building above the existing garage created an additional 500sf of living space that became the home’s new primary suite. The client did not want the addition to make their house look like one big box, so the architectural design included a bump-out to create better curb appeal and add extra square footage to the primary bedroom. The primary bath features a custom walk-in shower and a double vanity with lighted mirrors and the walk-in closet gives ample storage for the client’s summer wardrobe. The addition of the four windows in the bump-out allows a generous amount of natural light to filter in, complementing the subtle coastal-inspired palette.
